Design Consultations

Our consultations are a great way to get ideas for your outdoor space. Many people schedule these alone just so they can get 'on track' to a great landscape. My fee covers travel and one hour with you at your home. During this time I'll get a feel for what your frustrations or needs are for your garden.

Then I'll make suggestions regarding placement of patios, general layout, plant ideas, and possible things to avoid. Those quirky problems just may get solved at this meeting. An hour really does cover a lot and many homeowners elect to take notes which is fine.

Your Design Consultation can be just that -- or you can move forward with full landscape design plans or an estimate. Let us know how we can help!

Landscape Design Plans

While you wouldn't even consider putting an addition onto your home without a plan, many people still hire a landscaper without a design. Considering how much of an investment landscaping can be, why not know it's done correctly?

What you save in time and frustration and what you gain in confidence and beauty makes landscape design a worthwhile investment.

At Get Creative, each garden is meticulously measured, drafted, and designed. Details and measurements are noted and each plant is carefully researched and listed. Multiple meetings are scheduled to make sure that your garden is just what you wanted.

You'll have plans to show landscapers so that your estimates will be much more in line with each other. You'll control what happens along the way, too. Instead of 'waving your arms around' (as one of my clients put it), you'll have a plan to show your landscaper. Details to point out. Notes for each and every plant.

Confident that your landscaper understands what you want, you'll have spent the time in the details up front instead of having to make decisions on the fly. Even better, you'll be able to see the design flair every step of the way.

When you decide that you need a designer, look at the quality of the design possibilities. Are you excited? Can a contractor use this to fashion what you want? Can you visualize your finished project? Is it a plan showing shrubs or is it a design that inspires?
