Experience

Throughout my life, art has been my passion. If I'm not drawing or painting, I'm crafting jewelry or reading about artwork.

Lakeshore buffer zones, commercial properties, condos, historical properties, family pool areas, ... I've designed many types of landscapes and gardens. Each one has its own rewards and challenges.

Some gardens I've designed include the L.E. Phillips residence near the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. The Meditation Garden at The Highground Veteran's Memorial Park in Neillsville, WI is based on my design. People with differing abilities have also benefited from my designs.

Education

Through my education in the Civil Engineering program at our local technical college, I've learned not only advanced drafting and surveying, but also planning and layout for kitchens and homes.

If you've ever lived in a space that was effortless, you know why I love to be able to design gardens that function well. My education in Civil Engineering was just the beginning, but understanding a home's layout still plays a part in my work today.

In the last few years, I've trained at the Anna Gresham School of Landscape Design. I knew what I wanted -- to be a designer that could create unique, beautiful, custom spaces that reflect the owner's lives and space in the world.

Associations

To this day, I continue to enrich my growing knowledge of garden design through publications and books. I've also become a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers. APLD offers me additional educational and speaking opportunities.

My degree in Civil Engineering, my Garden Design education at Anna Gresham School of Landscape Design and years and years of 'in the field' experience all bring me where I am today. A designer trained and experienced to ensure that your gardens are one of a kind and amazing.
